Resident Matt Rodgers was one of the many homeowners in Bon Secour that was affected by this storm. Rodgers quoted, “The building shattered, cracked on each side. The whole building levitated about a foot and a half and at that point I grabbed my dog, went out the door and the roof was being ripped off.”. It was also reported by News 5 WKRG that Rodgers “grabbed onto his van while strong winds tore his home apart. Rodgers also stated, “Thought some debris would hit me. I knew I was dead.”
