Tornado Touches Down in Venice Italy
There was a tornado reported in Venice, Italy on Wednesday July 8th, 2015. The tornado made contact around 5 pm local time and it left more than a dozen people injured in its wake. Rooted trees, damaged buildings, and vehicles lay in the path of the tornado.
The tornado was able to reach wind speeds between 135 and 16 miles per hour. This classifies the tornado as an EF level 3. The largest would be a level 5 tornado. Officials, organizations, and families are doing their best to help those in need, and to clean up the damage dealt by the devastating tornado.

Italy surprisingly has the 6th highest tornado density in the world. With tornadoes normally occurring between the months of May and September, it is most dangerous right now.
