In the span of an instance, more than 2 million people in Oklahoma and Texas were given what likely amounted to the most dire and sobering message they had ever heard. On Monday, the National Weather Service issued a threat level 5 out of a possible 5 scoring category for dangerous and life-threatening tornadoes.
