Central Florida Tornado
On January 17 at around 4 a.m. a tornado tore its way through Sarasota and Manatee Counties in south central Florida killing two people and injuring four children. The tornado was rated as an EF-2 by the National Weather Service with 127 mph winds. It ripped the house of two Steven and Kelli Wilson to pieces, and left their four grandchildren under debris. The children were rescued by their father, and thankfully they only received injuries.
