This is Not A Drill – Nuclear Blast Warning Hits Home
Recent history has had it’s history of looming nuclear disaster, including a few not so looming incidents in Japan. Residents of our island state received a warning on their phones informing a ballistic missile was on it’s way to their location. The alert mentioned that “this is not a drill” and to seek shelter. The events afterwords informed the world and especially the residents of Hawaii that the common person is not prepared for an impending missile. Citizens of Hawaii searched for every safe area they could, including manholes. The video below shows a child reluctantly entering a manhole for safety. It’s a harrowing site to say the least, and raises questions on our society’s procedures in these events.
